Maruti Suzuki Gypsy King

Maruti Suzuki Gypsy King – The Maruti Suzuki Gypsy King is worth its name. Launched in 1985, it has been ruling over the Indian Market since the moment it came on road. The latest variant was launched with 1.3L MPFI (multi point fuel injection) technology and is one of most trusted and cheapest off road car. But unfortunately, its production has been discontinued in 2018 as the government has made EBD and ABS compulsory. So hopefully, Maruti Suzuki might come up with Jimny by the end of 2019 but the King is the King! Gypsy will still be terribly missed.
Mahindra Thar

Mahindra has planned to relaunch it with some mechanical changes. Although nothing has been officially claimed yet, it is expected to be seen on road, with a facelift, in March 2020.

Best Off-Roading Car Conclusion
Though these options available are not cheap when we look for off road vehicles but they all are very good in their segments. But when we consider the value for money, the off-road capabilities and power to weight ratio, Maruti Gypsy King takes the lead even after lacking some of the necessary features available in other off roaders. As Gypsy’s production has been stopped by MSIL, you can easily get less driven, well maintained, used Gypsy King in the market at a good price or you can also opt for the vehicles auctioned by Army and other forces.
