The Election Commission will announce the poll dates for Delhi Assembly Election today. The Commission has organised a press conference at 3:30 pm to announce the election schedule.
The elections will be held to elect 70 members of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. The term of the current assembly elected in 2015 will expire on February 22, 2020, and a new House has to be constituted before that.house

Delhi assembly has 58 general category seats, 12 for SC and none for STs: Sunil Arora, chief election commissioner.
-Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Delhi Ranbir Singh said the final publication of voters list shows there are total 1,46,92,136 voters in Delhi including 80.55 lakh males and 66.35 lakh females.
Counting of votes on 11th February.
