Thinking of meeting your loved ones on Holi by travelling through Metro? Sorry to inform but Delhi Metro services will be cut down till afternoon on Thursday, 21 March, for Holi celebrations.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced this crucial information via its Twitter handle. The tweet says “On Holi (21 March 2019), metro services will not be available till 2:30 PM on all Lines of the Delhi Metro. Additionally, metro feeder bus service will also begin operations from 2:00 PM on the same day.”
Not only the regular metro but the Airport Line that connects New Delhi railway station to the Indira Gandhi Airport is also scheduled to operate after 2:30 PM, while services on the Noida-Greater metro rails which comes under the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is also scheduled after 2:00 PM. Metro feeder bus services will also not be at hand till 2:00 PM and will run as per schedule thereafter on Thursday.
So if you are planning to use metro on 21st, make sure you plan your journey after 2:30 pm or use some other mode of transportation as the buses will be serving you as per their regular schedule. Delhi Metro helpline Number is available 24×7, Toll-free number is –155370.
