Lockdown for a week in Delhi Again- 19 April to 26 April

Due to the second wave of the pandemic spreading in the country, Delhi Govt. has decided to put a lockdown in the state for a week to slow down the disease by breaking the chain of Covid-19. So, from 10 pm tonight to 5 am on Monday a six-day lockdown has been implemented with new guidelines for the people. But there is no need to panic as the Chief Minister has taken full responsibility for the state.

Religious Places shall open but no visitors.

Work from Home for private offices.

Except the Health care & emergencies, other Delhi Govt. offices and corporations shall be closed.

Gathering of 50 people for a wedding and 20 people at funerals.

Cinema halls and other amusement places shall be closed.

Do’s and Do not’s of this Lockdown –

Govt. officials, Doctors, essential workers, journalists are allowed to go out with valid id proof.

Students appearing for exams will be allowed with id proof.

People going for the Covid-19 vaccine or testing will be allowed to go out.

People travelling to airports, railway stations or bus stations will be allowed to travel with proper tickets.

Other medical emergencies are also allowed to go out with a doctor’s prescription.

Daily essential commodities based working staff is allowed outside.

Banks, insurance offices & ATMs will open.

Home Deliveries and take away of food is allowed.

Telecommunication, internet services, cable services will open.

Petrol pumps, LPG, CNG pumps will open.

Transport Services-

Buses with 50% occupancy are allowed.

Metro with 50% occupancies is allowed.

Autos and cabs with 2 passengers only are allowed.

Interstate or intrastate travelling will be opened without any e-pass is allowed.

These are all the necessary guidelines for this lockdown of Delhi according to the sources. But it would be advised to not go out without any emergencies.
