Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the nation at 8 pm on Tuesday on the situation arising out of coronavirus outbreak and the efforts being taken to combat it.

The prime minister has been regularly taking to social media, urging people to prepare themselves but not panic. He has asked people to follow lockdown instructions seriously while urging the state governments to ensure that people don’t venture outside.
In an earlier address on March 19, when he announced Janata Curfew, the PM had called for “resolve and restraint” to fight coronavirus. In a nearly 30-minute national broadcast, PM Modi had asked people to stay indoors and work from home as much as possible while underscoring the dangers of coronavirus, saying the world has never seen a crisis as grave as this.
